There are many wedding venues in Nashville that have ties with the music industry, but none quite as strong as The Barn at Mayo Farm. For over three decades, the property was owned by artists who have been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, namely Mother Maybelle. In fact, some of the best country songs were written on the property. The former “music room” that hosted hundreds of writing sessions has been turned into the bridal suite allowing Brides to soak in the history of the space as they get ready for their nuptials.
The 12-acre property is an absolute oasis with lush greenery everywhere you look. There are multiple locations on site to host ceremonies of any size (insert the buzz word: micro weddings), all of them true to the rustic, natural, and secluded vibe. And the 1925 barn is a perfect backdrop for a seated dinner with the included farmhouse tables and benches. It is ideal for couples looking to link their love story with Nashville’s rich music history. And because the venue manages some of the vendors for couples, it’s perfect for destination weddings. The icing on the cake? It’s less than 10 miles to downtown so your whole party can party!
